In the European Union, 13% of enterprises use this type of data, and we can distinguish ICT sectors as well as sectors offering various accommodation. Although the use of Big Data in Poland is lower than in Europe, a growing trend in the use of individual data can be observed.

Big Data and small and medium-sized enterprises 

Small and medium-sized enterprises usually do not have the appropriate knowledge to create an appropriate Big Data infrastructure, therefore the implementation of certain solutions is extremely difficult. The costs of employing competent people are not the cheapest, which is an additional difficulty. However, digitization of processes brings many advantages and their introduction can significantly increase profits and the possibility of appearing in completely new areas.
